Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has been showcased at Ubisoft Forward 2022. Alongside a new gameplay trailer featuring a Wiggler boss fight and new combat mechanics, the future DLC plans of the game were announced.
There will be three pieces of DLC total, the final of which will introduce Ubisoft platforming legend Rayman. Details of Rayman’s inclusion are sparse. All we know at present is that Rayman will be a new hero joining the rest of the cast, and the DLC will be released in 2023.
This will surely cause a mixture of emotions for Rayman fans. It’s nice to see Ubisoft acknowledging his existence, and even more impressive he will be appearing in an official Mario adventure. It is somewhat disappointing that he still isn’t receiving a new game though. Maybe at Ubisoft Forward 2023?
