Later into your time with Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will be introduced to a new type of puzzle where you need to use computers to route power to the correct places to open a door. The first one is encountered in the Dissection area. It opens the way forward and introduces the concept of creating a path from the Power section to the circular nodes by rotating squares with paths the power can run through.

How to Solve the Freezer Power Puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake
You will find the terminal with this Power Puzzle inside the Freezer and need to get five nodes powered up by rotating the four surrounding icons. Here’s the solution:
- Rotate the first icon twice so it turns the line inward.
- Rotate the second icon twice so it turns the line down.
- Rotate the third icon three times to send the line straight up.
- Rotate the final icon three times to fully connect the power
With that done, you can swap the switch over to “Power” and confirm to exit the puzzle. The Freezer will open, letting you inside to collect the LE 5 SMG. This is considered by many to be the best SMG in Resident Evil 4 Remake, so don’t be shy about upgrading it. If SMGs aren’t your thing, you can always sell it for a cool 17,500 Pesetas.
