How To Solve The Mausoleum Lamp Puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake
The way this puzzle works is that the mausoleum stands in the center of the room and is surrounded by three pedestals and lanterns. To solve this puzzle, you need to match to the symbols made by the lanterns to the ones on the walls. Facing the door, we will refer to each pedestal as being to the right, left, and behind.
The symbols on the walls you need to match from left, back, and right are the crescent moon, full moon, and star. Here’s how to place the lanterns to show the correct symbols:
- Replace the lantern in the back with the one you start with to show a full moon.
- Place the lantern you are now holding on the left pedestal to keep it a crescent moon.
- Put that final lantern on the right pedestal to shine the star.
Once all the stars (and moon) are aligned, the gate will open and you can get the Salazar Family Insignia. Take this back to the Library to close out this chapter.
