Rust,the game where naked men run around with sticks and stones, is no doubt pretty popular. But after today’s twitter announcement by the creator, it only confirms the popularity of Rust.
Garry Newman, creator of both Rust and Garry’s Mod, has stated on his twitter that after nine years of Garry’s Mod release; the sandbox game has finally made 30 million dollars. That’s a lot of dough! But if Garry Newman’s mathematical calculations are correct, Rust has made more revenue than Garry’s Mod. More specifically, 0.34% more. And let me remind you, Rust is still in alpha and has only been available since December of this year. I say props to Mr.Newman and his team at Facepunch Studios! Now they can afford to buy a Ferrari with diamond wheels and have Shaq as the limousine driver. Perfect I say!
