Screenshot Saturday – May 15th

Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, May 15.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out the previous list here!

Bilkins’ Folly

This fun little animation, from one of our previous entries, Bilkins’ Folly, was shared by @herrwebster in this tweet. The pixel art and environmental design is as astonishing as always, and we also got to see some playful tricks with the camera. Bilkins’ Folly looks better and better each week, and we can’t wait to play it!

Mage Drops

These promo images for Mage Drops were shared by the studio (@Oorgames) in this tweet. The images are very cryptic and intriguing, and it definitely piqued our interest to see what the game is about. Mage Drops early access will be available on March 20 on Steam.

BadPiggy

This short and sweet video was shared by the developer @BadPiggyproduc1 in this tweet. The game looks simple, but the gameplay and mechanics are innovative and fun, and the fast paced action would make it an addictive experience. We will keep our eyes on this developer and their projects in the future!

Mortem: Fallen Kingdom

Mortem Fallen Kingdom Screenshot

The War Penguin Studios (@WarPenguinz) shared this screenshot from their upcoming game, Mortem: Fallen Kingdom, in this tweet. The environment and the graphics of the game look stunning, and this is only one location from the multi biome world of the game. There is no planned release date for the game yet, but you can wishlist this RPG game on Steam to get updates on the game’s development progress

Terracotta

This short animation was shared by the Twitter page of Terracotta (@TerracottaGame) in this tweet. The way this 2d pixel art realistically shows the character mounting a running horse is just impressive. We are hoping to see more of this beautiful game, but until then, you can check out its Steam page and wishlist Terracotta to stay up to date with this project.
