A few weeks ago I was watching a show on TV and on this show a question was asked about whether we should expect to see a new Little Big Planet game on the Playstation 4, the people on the TV said that apparently it is highly unlikely we would see another game in the series because of something to do with the developers. Today I can say these people were mistaken as during Sony’s press conference at E3 they have announced a new game in the LittleBigPlanet franchise LittleBigPlanet 3.
Here’s what we know:
– New power-ups
– 3 new characters
– Oddsock: jumps/moves more quickly
– Tuggle: can shrink to move through tight areas
– Swoop: can fly
– Can play any of the user-generated content already made for LittleBigPlanet
LittleBigPlanet 3 will launch in November.
I think this will definitely bring appeal to the Playstation 4 with young audiences so this is a good move and I look forward to more details about the game in the future.
