Having already arrived in Japan fans of the Star Ocean franchise outside of the country anxiously want to know when they can get their hands on the next installment in the franchise Star Ocean 5: Intergrity and Faithlessness. During a stream held by Square Enix recently they not showed off some of the games mechanics, but also stated that the game wold arrive sometime this summer in North America. Now Square Enix has revealed exactly when we will be getting our hands on the game.
It turns out the game will coming exclusively to the Playstation 4 on June 28th, besides this those looking to get some extra items will be able to get the game in two additional versions. This includes a Day One edition and a Collectors Edition these include:
Day One Edition
- Two battle musical themes from Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
- The Ring of the Valkyries, Gold Bunny Statue, Bushybrume Cincture, Wristlet of the Stars and Secret Sthalian Tome DLC
Collector’s Edition
- A sleek Steelbook case
- The Sounds of Star Ocean: a soundtrack featuring 16 tracks from Motoi Sakuraba
- 80-paged art book titled “The Art of Star Ocean”
- Eight art cards featuring illustrations from Street Fighter character designer Akiman
- Pangalactic Federation ID card
- … and everything included in the Day One Edition
The Day One Edition will be available to anyone who pre-orders the game or picks it up day one, whereas the the Collector’s Edition will be a Square Enix Store exclusive and will run for $109.99.
