The Ninth Sister has fairly slow movement, giving you enough time to parry her attacks. While you can deflect most of them, you must be careful when she glows red because it means the boss will perform an unblockable attack. The only thing you can do is to dodge by pressing B on Xbox or Circle on PS5.
The Ninth Sister will often throw her saber toward you, but you can parry this move when the weapon is flying back toward her. Although you may prefer to stay away from the boss, the best method to quickly defeat her is by staying close and deflecting her attacks.
Once you manage to deplete a quarter of the Ninth Sister’s health, you will trigger the second phase. A short cutscene will play, and the boss will actively use the Force to predict your actions. Attacking her will be useless, and you must break her concentration by parrying.
You aim to empty her posture meter (the white bar above her head) to force her out of the mind-reading stance. Afterward, you can return to the usual gameplay, where you can deflect and attack the boss.
When the Ninth Sister only has a quarter of HP left, another short cutscene will play. This time, Cal will unlock the Dual Wield lightsaber stance. The boss will become much more aggressive in the final phase, but you must return the sentiment by relentlessly attacking.
