It was recently announced that EA Play (formerly EA Access), which offers up to 60 EA titles, would be added to the Xbox Game Pass. Best of all, it’ll be added entirely free. This offer allows members to access rewards, in-game challenges and claim digital discounts. It’ll further mean they’ll be able to try out trial versions of EA titles before their official release.

EA Play is expected to go live on the Xbox Game Pass during the 2020 holiday season, but in some good news for Xbox Game Pass ultimate subscribers, they’ll be able to dip into EA Play via PC, Xbox One, Series X, and S consoles.

Elsewhere, in the world of Fortnite, Apple released an announcement to The Verge, confirming that Fortnite had been removed for good from the App Store. According to Apple, this is due to Epic Games, “violating the App Store guidelines that are applied equally to every developer and designed to keep the store safe for our users.”

They closed their statement saying that they’d “make every effort to work with Epic to resolve these violations so they can return Fortnite to the App Store.”
