To make Sweet and Sour Kingfish Steak, you must acquire the following ingredients:
- Sugarcane x1
- Lemon x1
- Kingfish x1
Once you have acquired the said ingredients, make your way to the nearest cooking station and interact with it. You can find a cooking station in Remy’s Restaurant and can also add one to your house. Add the above ingredients to the Cooking Pot and click the ‘Start Cooking’ button. Wait until the food gets prepared.
On the same note, ensure you have a piece of Coal, as you will need it to initiate the cooking process. If you don’t have any Coal handy, mine the nearest rock deposits, and you will find plenty.

How to Get Sugarcane in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can purchase Sugarcane from Goofy’s Stall in Dazzle Beach. But since Dazzle Beach is unavailable initially, you must spend 1000 Dreamlight to unlock it.
After that, the next step is to repair Goofy’s Stall so that you can buy certain items and ingredients from there. Once you complete everything necessary, you can get access to purchasing Sugarcane. You can also purchase Sugarcane Seeds and grow it yourself!
How to Get Lemons in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can collect Lemons from the trees in specific biomes, specifically the Glade of Trust and Forest of Valor. Unfortunately, unlocking these biomes takes 5000 and 3000 Dreamlight, respectively, and accumulating that much Dreamlight may take some time.
So, if you are running low on Dreamlight, you can complete tasks and challenges available in the Dreamlight menu.
How to Get Kingfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can obtain Kingfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley via fishing in the Dazzle Beach biome. Select your fishing rod, aim, and throw it at the blue bubble circles in the water and wait for the fish to take the bait.
Since fishing depends on RNG, it is not 100% guaranteed that you will get Kingfish on your first try. However, you can increase your chances of getting Kingfish by fishing in the evening.
