The Nakatomi Plaza Will Be Added To Warzone’s Verdansk

For a limited time, the Nakatomi Plaza, the fictional skyscraper setting for the first Die Hard film, will be available as a “point of interest” in Warzone, according to a Call of Duty blog post. The headquarters of the Nakatomi Corporation can be located in Verdansk’s downtown, and will include “five floors of a space that will be familiar to those who know and love the original Die Hard”.

Better still, the Nakatomi Plaza features a variety of optional missions that can be completed in Battle Royale and Plunder. One such mission requires players to investigate the tower for Supply Boxes. Another mission will challenge players to defuse a C4 on the tower’s roof or disrupting an arms deal turning south.

The Rambo and John McClane bundles will become exclusive via the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Store from May 19 at 9 PM PT until June 18 at 9 PM PT. The bundles feature a range of finishing moves, legendary weapon blueprints, calling cards, emblems, epic watches, and charms.

Other key points of interest to explore in Warzone include a CIA Outpost to survival camps in tribute to Rambo: First Blood Part II. Players can even get their hands on a ballistic knife and Rambo’s iconic combat bow, which adds “an explosive punch to any loadout when found in Verdansk or Rebirth Island.”

Last week, Gameluster reported that Bruce Willis’ John McClane from the Die Hard franchise had received a fact sheet via the Call of Duty Twitter account, revealing key facts about the operator, codenamed  “COWBOYMCCLANE#0070030.” in action. For example, McClane has successfully swept up five victories from five, while amassing a total of 73 kills, (which accounts for the exact number of kills across the franchise).

Mind you, in comparison to Rambo’s own fact sheet, John McClane doesn’t hold a candle, (or lighter), to Stallone’s tally of 552 kills.
