Two new Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem screenshots released, shows improved textures

April was truly memorable this year when a new Nintendo Direct arrived and showed off a game many feared was cancelled. Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem was first announced to be in the works a couple of years ago and only recently saw the light of day, and the game I think blew us away, clearly a lot of love and attention had been given to the game though what we saw was announced shortly after to not be the final product.

Two new screenshots have been released for Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem by Atlus and Nintendo today both of which you can see below:

Out of interest the second picture is actually mentioned to be an improved version of one released back in April. Take a look and see for yourself:

As you can see between the two pictures there have been improvements to textures for the ground and buildings, the new version really does look better. Though it is worth noting that the second screenshot is still not the finished final product, the final game will look different with continually improved visuals up until launch.

The first picture was released to Twitter, meanwhile the second was released on the games official website.
