As part of Ubisoft’s upcoming Ubiforward showcase this weekend, the studio is giving away Watch Dogs 2 completely free. To grab their copy, all players will need to do is sign into their Ubisoft account on July 12 (the day of the showcase), and it’ll be theirs to download and keep.

The event begins at 11 am PDT / 7 pm BST. The main event of the showcase will reveal new information on games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and the recently announced battle royale title, Hyper Scape. Unisoft further teased that on the day of the stream, there’d be “a few other surprises.”

In a recent teaser from Ubisoft, the developers provided a tiny glimpse of the event this weekend. The trailer only lasts twenty seconds but reveals flashes of games, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Hyper Scape.

Legion is set in a futuristic post-Brexit reality. At this time, no release date has been confirmed for Legion, but the next installment in the hacking series is due for 2020.

The trailer reveals hints the upcoming battle royale game Hyper Scape, which was very recently announced for PC. Console versions are also expected at a later date.

According to Ubisoft, Hyper Scape is described as “the one and only urban futuristic free-to-play Battle Royale where Contenders engage high and low in close-quarters, fast-paced FPS battles to become the next global Champion.”

Hyper Scape will further “change the way we watch video games by allowing streamers and content creators to interact with their audiences like never before.”

Valhalla is due for release in Holiday 2020, launching on the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, including current-gen platforms. Back in April, Ubisoft gave Assassin’s Creed II for free on PC via their service uPlay service.
