Screenshot Saturday – July 16th

Indie game developers share their work progress every week on Twitter with the #ScreenshotSaturday hashtag. In this piece, we take a look at the most interesting and eye-catching screenshots or short videos of indie games shared on Saturday, July 16th.

GameLuster has a Screenshot Saturday round-up every week. You can check out the previous list here.

Setting Sun

This video from Setting Sun was shared by the game’s Twitter page (@SettingSun_Arpg) in this tweet. In the video, we get to see different times of day and dynamic weather changes in the game’s world, and the rain and snow especially look fascinating in the game’s isometric view. You can wishlist Setting Sun and experience this ARPG demo on Steam.

Imperfect

This video from Imperfect was shared by the developer (@ImperfectGD) in this tweet. The short video is a clip from the game’s trailer and the concept of seeing monsters only through special lenses and frames is a particularly chilling trope in the horror genre. You can wishlist Imperfect on Steam and check out the game’s demo in October.

Double Shake

These screenshots from Double Shake were shared by the developer (@rightstickdev) in this tweet. This PS1-style action platformer has an amazingly nostalgic art style, and in these images, we get to see different outfits for the character. We look forward to seeing more of Double Shake in the future.

Tale of a Wolf

This video from Tale of a Wolf was shared by the game’s Twitter page (@TaleOfAWolf) in this tweet. In this short video, we get to see some impressive and intriguing visual effects and animations, and it piqued our curiosity about what these effects do in the game. You can wishlist Tale of a Wolf on Steam to get notified about the game’s release.

Delphinium

This video from Delphinium was shared by the developer (@_heidev) in this tweet. The game has a uniquely vibrant art style, detailed environmental design, smooth animations, and atmospheric lighting. Delphinium is a narrative game with farming simulation mechanics, and we can’t wait to see more of this game.
