After assassinating Al-Ghul in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Basim will reunite with his old friend Nehal in Anbar. The woman will give him a clue about a secret location that may be related to the Isu artifact that they found years ago. While the game won’t tell you about its exact location, this guide can help you find this hidden area in no time.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage The Calling Quest Guide
The hidden place Nehal is referring to is located in the Northern Oasis east of Anbar. After arriving at this location, I highly recommend synchronizing with the fast travel point so you can teleport to this area instantly in the future.
The entrance to the secret area is located inside the oasis. You must dive into the water and head south, where you will find an underwater cave. Don’t worry; Basim has a healthy set of lungs and will manage to reach the other side of the cave.
You will resurface inside a hidden tunnel, and you must follow the path to reach the forgotten Isu’s chamber containing three treasure chests. Unfortunately, you must find 10 Mysterious Shards scattered throughout Baghdad to unlock them all.
These Mysterious Shards are marked with golden shard icons on the compass, and you must kill the person holding the Mysterious Shard to obtain one. They’re usually accompanied by one or two guards, and they’ll patrol around the streets of Baghdad.
If you have trouble finding the Mysterious Shards, I recommend using Enkidu to scout the area. The eagle can easily spot these important objects, and you can even tag them to your compass by pressing the X button.
Since the people holding the Mysterious Shards will be surrounded by citizens, I suggest using Throwing Knives to kill them. You don’t want to get seen assassinating a person, or you’ll increase your Notoriety level. Ensure that you’re hidden before you start killing people in broad daylight.

- 5 Shards: Milad’s Outfit
