You can take on the appearance of other characters in Super Mario Maker

An interesting new feature was announced for Super Mario Maker during today’s digital event, within the game you will be able to collect special mushrooms which will transform you into another of Nintendo’s characters. The example that was given during the direct was the ability to change into Wii Fit Trainer, from my understanding this seems to have a correlation to Amiibo figures. Either way it is cool to see other Nintendo characters getting recognized in the game and transforming into Link like you can see above will be truly awesome.
