Adventures of Pip is a Kickstarter lead by indie developers Tic Toc Games. You begin the game as a humble pixel, but as you level up, your character sprite evolves, and with your physical changes come new abilities. This clever combination of visuals and gameplay is a unique concept that I have not seen implemented anywhere else. Adventures of Pip is also coming out on many systems: Windows and Mac (through Steam), Wii U, and Xbox One are all guaranteed, but if the $180,000 stretch goal is reached, it will also be released on PSN and Linux. If you like platformers, do your future self a favor and go back this game. You won't regret it when Adventures of Pip comes out in November.
I've been playing video games for my entire life. I intend to develop them myself one day, but for now, I'm writing about them.
My favourite games are Pikmin 2, Earthbound, and basically any other game made by Nintendo. I also like Indie games such as Bastion and Thomas Was Alone,
and I hope that my writing will allow independent developers to get the exposure they deserve.
