As promised, Among Us packed some new announcements into its frenetic Summer Games Fest trailer, including a brand new Hide & Seek mode. To let you further customise your crewmates, visor options are being added. We also saw the previously revealed new colours and an additional Banana colour. Two roles, Sheriff and Scientist, were briefly shown. Achievements are going to be implemented. Lastly, there was confirmation of a fifth map, though we’re not able to get a glimpse at it just yet.

According to the post on innersloth.itchi.io regarding the roadmap, the 15 player update and new colours, as well as a slight improvement to graphics and mobile controller support, are at the top of the list. The other elements showcased in the trailer and the ongoing development for the PlayStation and Xbox One versions, are part of the “in no particular order, what we want to work on” list.
The post cryptically comes to a close by saying “there’s more we have in store for you” so to keep an eye on the Twitter account or newsletter over the weekend.
Among Us is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch, with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions on the way.
