You can complete the Curse of the Si’la Tale of Baghdad by investigating the tragic incident that has occurred. While exploring the area, you can use your Eagle Vision to notice various clues scattered in the Abandoned Village.
There are seven clues you must examine to understand the cause of this incident. Two of them are the corpses of the villagers. You can find a man’s corpse in front of the house west of Ma’bad. Head down the road, and you’ll encounter a woman’s corpse on your right side.
If you continue to head west, you can find a campfire and a wagon track near the beach. Be careful when you enter this area because a wild cat is feasting on the remains of a dead animal.
Next, you’ll need to follow the track, and it will lead you to another house. In front of the building, you can discover the emblem of the Caliph’s palace and an opened box with Chinese markings.
Finally, you need to enter the house and examine the jar on the floor. I suggest immediately exiting the building afterward since Basim will get dizzy due to the poisonous vapor. He will puke several times, and your vision will get wobbly, but everything will return to normal after some time.
You can speak to Ma’bad and explain your findings to the man. Basim will force the villager to confess, and the quest will be marked as complete. As a reward, you will receive one Skill Point that you can use to unlock new powers.
