Black Ops Cold War Pre-Load Start Dates Revealed

Activision has revealed the pre-load start times for Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War across all major platforms. For current-gen players, they won’t have long to wait to begin downloading, as Activision outlined the details via a post on their website.

For the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, pre-loading goes live today, (November 5), from 9 PM PST.  PC players will need to wait until November 10, at 10 AM PT, Black Ops Cold War can be located under the tab “Partner Games” via the Battle.net Launcher. Then we move onto the next-gen consoles, with pre-loading coinciding with their respective launch dates. November 10 for Xbox Series X and S, and November 12 for the PS5.

For those who’ve nabbed a copy of the digital version of Black Ops Cold War, and it’s downloading during pre-load time, players are advised to visit the particular console’s store and follow a series of steps to begin the download. Best of all, there are two free Weapon Blueprints available from the Confrontation Weapons Pack the moment you download, regardless of platform choice.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is slated for release on November 13, 2020, launching across the PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Series X, S, and PC. Beyond November 13, Activision recently confirmed that Black Ops Cold War would integrate its content with Warzone, with Season 1 launching at some time during December 2020.

Activision’s President Rob Kostich said: “All the awesome new Black Ops Cold War weapons and operators you unlock and your level 1 to 255 progression will be usable in Black Ops and in Warzone.” Kostich added that it’d be an opportunity for players “to see the impact of Black Ops and Warzone really starting to work together in cool and fun ways. Again, [there are] a lot more details here, which we’re going to reveal in the next week or two.”
