Captain Price Teased As Season 4 Operator In Warzone

Captain Price may be appearing as an operator in Season Four of Call Of Duty: Warzone. This is based on a short clip released via a marketing email yesterday. Users are redirected to a website that plays the video, as seen below.

A cryptic message was sent out to users via the Call Of Duty: Warzone app on May 20, indicating a big event was due to drop the next day. The message was sent out around 3 p.m. EST on Wednesday. The notification explained that an interpreted message outside of Verdansk requested an IP call with a target believed to be “TARGET DENVER.”

The clip is a recording of a call between Khaled Al-Asad and Vladimir Makarov, two well-established characters within Call Of Duty. Al-Asad warns Makarov that opposing forces are “enlisting the help of a senior operator.”

At the same time, a grainy, yet somewhat obvious image of a man believed to be Captain Price appears on the screen. He is referred to as “an old friend” by Al-Asad, as well as a “big” problem. The cryptic message is intended for Armistice Senior Operators, playable characters in Warzone.

Alex was recently revealed as an operator for Season 3, so with all things considered, it’s likely Price will be confirmed for Season 4. Recently, according to a Twitter post from Jason Schier, the next Call Of Duty title may be set in Vietnam. A Twitter user asked Jason Schier: “Do you think/know if it’s still going to be part of the Black Ops series then?”

Schier replied, “I’m not a COD person, so I don’t know anything about all the lore shenanigans or what it means to be a Black Ops game, but one title I’ve heard thrown around a couple times is just “COD: Vietnam.”
