Disney Dreamlight Valley is filled with many interesting quests that players have to complete in order to advance in the game. One of them is the With Great Power quest. In this quest, players are tasked with visiting the Mystical Cave and collecting the Orb of Power in order to free Ursula from a dark magical barrier.
To obtain the Orb of Power in the Mystical Cave, you will have to solve the difficult riddles. We have many players who want to know how to solve the puzzle and obtain the Orb of Power in the game. Seeing that, we have prepared a handy guide on where you will find Mystical Cave, how to solve the puzzles and obtain Orb or Power in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Where to Find The Mystical Cave
You will find Mystical Cave at Dazzle Beach.
After leaving Ursula’s Cave, walk back to the beach, following the palm trees on your right until you see a pillar. Go behind the pillar, and you will find the Mystical Cave entrance. Near the entrance, you will see an ancient device. Interact with the device and place the crystal received by Ursula to open the door to the Mystical Cave.
How To Unlock Magic Gates
There are three Magic Gates in the Mystical Cave, which you need to open by solving puzzles to progress further. Below we have shared the solution to unlock every Magic Gate in the Mystical Cave.
First Magic Gate
In the first Magic Gate, you will find three different colored statues. The color of the statues resembles the gems you’ll need to solve the puzzle and open the first Magic Gate. Here are the Gems you’ll need to solve this riddle:
- Green Statue: Peridot (Mined from mineral veins in Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach biome).
- Blue Statue: Aquamarine (Mined from mineral veins in Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor biome).
- Red Statue: Garnet (Mined from mineral veins in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow biome).
You will find these gems in the above mentioned biomes. Shatter the rocks in the valley with a pickaxe to obtain these gems. Once you’ve collected all the necessary gems, go back to the statues, interact with them, and place them in their hand to open the first Magic Gate in the Mystical Cave.
Second Magic Gate
In the second Magic Gate, you will see another trio of statues. Once you go near the table, you will receive a cryptic description on the screen reading “discover the right crops to grow to continue and below. One is underground, the other gold and brown. What remains is red and round.” This means you will need some carrot seed, wheat seed, and tomato seed.
There are two ways to get these seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The first is through Night Thorn drops, and the second is through Goofy’s stall. As the chances of getting them from Night Thorns are very low, we recommend buying them from Goofy’s stall in Peaceful Meadow.
Once you have obtained all the required seeds, go back to the Mystical Cave, plant the crop seeds in front of the statues, and water them regularly. You can either wait for them to grow or engage in another quest, as they take time to farm. Once they are ready, harvest them to open the second Magic Gate of Mystical Cave.
Third Magic Gate
In the third Magic Gate, you will be asked to “cook and eat” what you have grown. To do so, interact with the cooking pot to the right side of the Magic Gate, place the carrot, wheat, and tomato you have grown inside the pot, and start cooking. You will need coal for cooking. If you don’t have one, destroy the rocks behind you to obtain one.
After cooking, you will get a three-star Veggie Pasta. Eat the Veggie Pasta to unlock the third and final Magic Gate to the Mystical Cave.
How to get Orb of Power in Disney Dreamlight valley
After successfully unlocking each magic gate and eating veggie pasta, go ahead, and you will see the orb of power in a small pond. To get the Orb of Power, cast your fishing rod in the pond just like you do for regular fishing. You may face a spot of hardship hooking the item, but after a couple of attempts, you will get the Orb of Power.
