EA Play Kicks off E3 2019 with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends Season 2, and More

E3 2019 has officially kicked off with EA Play, Electronic Arts’ annual two-day event in LA, presenting a three-hour live-stream detailing upcoming releases for the year.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment was first to take the stage. The first gameplay trailer was featured, showing off the various time-stopping force powers, a more methodical and calculated approach to lightsaber combat, and BD-1, the cutest droid companion in the Outer Rim.

Apex Legends, also by Respawn Entertainment, showed off a new character, Wattson, a more defensive-oriented character. More information regarding the next season was introduced, along with a new Legendary Hunt event.

Battlefield V made by DICE showed off a handful of new maps, like New Marita and Al Sundan, and more close-quarter maps as well.

The next chapter of Battlefield V also highlighted the move to the Pacific Theater and the various maps and armies that come along with it.

And to wrap things up, FIFA 20 and Madden 20 each dropped their respective official reveal trailers. The Sims 4™ Island Living concluded the live-stream with a reveal of a more vibrant, seaside lifestyle with a new expansion pack.
