Every Thursday we share the weekly Famitsu sales charts, which tracks physical boxed game sales and hardware sales in Japan. This week’s chart covers Mar. 24 – 30, as Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition manages to hold its own against Monster Hunter Wilds in its second week on sale, clinging to the top spot with over 14,000 sales. Monster Hunter Wilds was close behind with a little under 13,000 sales, but Xenoblade managed to pull through for a second week on top.
There were a couple of new releases this week too, with horse-racer Winning Post 10 2025 selling over 10,000 copies on Switch, and PS5’s dating sim Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme falling just a little short of that 10,000 sales mark. Surprisingly, Assassin’s Creed Shadows didn’t fall out of the top 10, and instead managed to fall to #8 thanks to another 5,000 units sold.
