The first part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox consoles and Xbox on PC, and we’ve finally got a release date for the hugely successful JRPG! Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be making its debut to kick off the next year of gaming, launching on January 22 in 2026.
Not only will these consoles be getting all the content available in the existing PS5 and PC versions of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, but a new game mode will also be available from launch for those who purchase the game on one of its new platforms. This mode will give a “streamlined progression” feature for those who want to get through the game quicker or easier, giving the party maximum HP and MP at all times, along with them always dealing 9,999 damage per attack and giving the maximum number of items possible to players. It’s essentially a god mode!

Whilst the “god mode” feature will be available to Switch 2 and Xbox players from launch, it’s likely it will be added as an update to the existing PS5 and PC versions too, though that’s unconfirmed. If you’re a non-PlayStation fan of the Final Fantasy VII Remake series then you’re in luck too, as Square Enix confirmed the entire Remake trilogy will become available on all platforms eventually, including Xbox and Switch 2.
