Genshin Impact version 4.2 introduces two new bosses, and one of them is the massive and dangerous All-Devouring Narwhal. This boss fight consists of two separate stages, and some players may have trouble understanding what they need to do during the first phase. Genshin Impact All-Devouring Narwhal Boss Guide
During the first phase of the All-Devouring Narwhal boss fight, you must attack the monster so it will go berserk and swallow you. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done because the boss will continuously dive underwater or fly in the sky.
You will only have limited time to unleash your strongest moves on the All-Devouring Narwhal when it dives toward the surface. Watch out for a large black sphere that spawns in the arena. If you can destroy The Eye of Maelstrom, you can draw the monster’s attention and force it to attack you.
Once All-Devouring Narwhal swallows you into its stomach, the second stage will begin, where you must defeat a humanoid monster called the Dark Shadow. This boss uses a greatsword, and it can freely teleport in the arena.
Here are its move sets:
- Sword Attacks – The boss will strike you with various sword combos.
- Eye of Maelstrom – The Shadow will create a ball of Pneumousia energy. You can stun the monster for several seconds if you hit the Eye of Maelstorm with an Arkhe-aligned strike. On the other hand, if you fail to interrupt this attack, the boss will summon several regular enemies into the arena.
- Thunder Strikes – Lightning will periodically strike down various spots in the boss arena.
