Ghost Of Yotei Gets Dedicated State Of Play This Thursday

Sony just announced over on the PlayStation Blog that an entire State of Play event dedicated to Ghost of Yotei will stream on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels this coming Thursday, July 10. The stream will feature almost 20 minutes of pure gameplay, hosted by Jason Connell and Nate Fox, the creative directors over at developer Sucker Punch. The deep dive should give players a good taste for what’s new in the standalone sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, ahead of its October 2 release.

We already have some details about Ghost of Yotei, but a dedicated State of Play event is exactly what we’ve all been waiting for to learn more about the moment-to-moment gameplay of the wandering ronin story. Ghost of Yotei takes us to Mount Yotei in what’s now known as Hokkaido, taking place in 1603, which is still a whopping 329 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The mountainous environment will come with new dynamic weather effects in an attempt to create an even more immersive experience than the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Yotei comes with entirely new immersive environments to explore.

The Ghost of Yotei State of Play will stream on July 10 at 2PM PT, which is 5PM ET for those whose timezones align with the eastern coast of the USA. For those with timezones that align with Europe, that’s 10PM BST or 11PM CEST. The event will be 20 minutes long, so it won’t take up too much time if you’re choosing to take some time out of work or before bed to watch it!
