There’s only two more months until God of War Ragnarök arrives on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Today’s State of Play event delivered for God of War fans, with two new surprises.

Firstly we saw a new limited edition DualSense controller, and it looks stunning. It’s a nice treat when companies release themed special edition controllers. They’re more affordable than an entire special edition console and there’s a practical reason to collect them, so this is a welcome announcement for me. Pre-orders for the controller will start on Sept. 27, and this won’t be one to miss for collectors.

God of War DualSense
The limited edition God of War DualSense looks pretty cool.

The second big reveal was the God of War Ragnarök story trailer. Kratos and Atreus are on a journey, but their path is followed closely by the eyes of Asgard. There’s a lot to unpack here, and we won’t be diving into anything for fear of spoilers. You can enjoy the trailer yourself below, which shines in 4K.

Nov. 9 can’t come soon enough. What do you think of today’s God of War Ragnarök reveals? Let us know in the comments below, and keep your eyes on GameLuster for more PlayStation coverage.
