Indie Power Hour is a show which focuses on new and upcoming indie games. In each episode, GameLuster writer Chloe Spencer will discuss the basic facts and elements of the game, as well as demonstrate one hour of gameplay. The goal is not to play a game to completion, but rather highlight interesting projects viewers might not have known much about.
In this jam-packed episode, we play the demo for the sci-fi LGBT inclusive visual novel Love Shore, which focuses on cyborgs uncovering secrets of an underground criminal world. After that we play a TV Game Jam 2019 entry, Spark Joy Destroy, which puts a fun, destructive twist on Mari Kondo’s tidying methods. Finally, the demo for Port Valley, a point-and-click adventure game centering on a political conspiracy, closes out the episode.
