In our final Pride month episode, we sit down to explore two games.
The first is a demo for Skate & Date, an upcoming visual novel/rhythm game which focuses on the rivalry– and romance– between girls’ roller derby teams. When Maggie meets bad girl Patricia, she finds herself wanting to get to know her better… but does Patricia share the same feelings? And will their competitive nature tear them apart, or push them closer together?
In the second half of the episode, we take time to explore Newfound Courage, a newly released story driven RPG which focuses on a gay man named Alex living in a post apocalyptic world. After losing his sister due to mysterious circumstances, Alex winds up in the town of Silverpine, which is run by humans and beings known as Sendings. When a corrupt politician threatens to take over the town, it’s up to Alex to save the townsfolk, and confront his own past.

Indie Power Hour is a show which focuses on new and upcoming indie games. In each episode, GameLuster writer Chloe Spencer will discuss the basic facts and elements of the game, as well as demonstrate one hour of gameplay.
