As we reported earlier, New Tales from the Borderlands has been officially showcased at Gamescom, coming Oct. 21. Talent from the original Tales from the Borderlands, including writing staff, will be returning for the game with the all-new storyline.
This new trailer showed the fresh cast and their quest to find what hides inside one of Borderlands’ iconic vaults. The gameplay and dialogue were as whacky as one would expect from a Borderlands title, with the original distinct art style too. The trailer ended to show a regular and deluxe edition of the game. This isn’t the first time we have seen them, as they leaked a few days ago on Amazon.
The original Tales from the Borderlands had a lot of charm in its story, and is a personal favorite Telltale game of mine. How this one will play out remains to be seen, but we don’t have long to wait, just two more months.
