Next Call of Duty will be shown at E3, Activision will not have a booth

Activision is teasing that they will be “showcasing gameplay from Infinity Ward’s ambitious new game,” during E3 this year.

Much like with last years Call of Duty Black Ops 3 this will be shown through Sony’s usual press conference as Activision will work with Sony to show it off. A big reason for Sony having a more major piece of the new game is because much like EA Activision will not be in actual attendance at the expo this year with a booth.

“In June, we’re going to be at E3 showcasing gameplay from Infinity Ward’s ambitious new game. We’re looking forward to sharing exciting new details about the next great Call of Duty game in partnership with our friends at PlayStation. We’re proud to be participating in this premier video game event, but won’t have an Activision booth on the show floor.”

However, Activision will be hosting the Call of Duty Championship this Autumn as the conclusion to the first season of the Call of Duty World League, along with a community event giving fans “insight and access to the world of Call of Duty.”

Now that two major publishers are down I wonder who will be next to skip out on this big event.
