No Man’s Sky & More Joining Xbox Game Pass for Console

Hello Games’ space exploration title No Man’s Sky will be the latest addition to Xbox Game Pass for Console. The game will be added to the service sometime in June, although an official date has not been announced.

No Man’s Sky first joined the Xbox family with its Xbox One release in 2018. Since then, the space-faring adventure has gained increasing popularity as gamers have explored practically infinite procedurally generated worlds. Developer Hello Games has continued to release free content updates introducing new ships, new creatures, new items, and more.

The title’s addition to Xbox Game Pass comes shortly after the release of two significant updates. Living Ship, which premiered in February, added an entire race of rare sentient starships, while March’s Exo Mech introduced new methods for exploring planets’ surfaces.

Also, Hello Games has announced that a Windows 10-compatible PC version of No Man’s Sky will be releasing soon. This brand new iteration of the game will be available via Xbox Game Pass for PC.

No Man’s Sky is far from the only exciting game which will be coming to Game Pass for Console. Chilling cult classic Alan Wake and city-building simulator Cities: Skylines were both added on May 21. The highly anticipated Minecraft: Dungeons, a spinoff of the beloved sandbox title, came to Game Pass on its launch day of May 26. Dungeons combine classic dungeon-crawling gameplay with the unmistakable Minecraft aesthetic, offering plenty of adventures for players to explore.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and as these titles are added, we will also be saying goodbye to some beloved classics, which will be leaving Xbox Game Pass. But don’t despair – if you love these games, you can purchase them permanently for 20% off before they disappear from the Game Pass library.

Titles leaving Xbox Game Pass shortly include:

    • Chaotic, fast-action sports battler #IDARB
    • Heartfelt, low-pressure puzzler Old Man’s Journey
    • Classic fighter King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate
    • Co-op adventure Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
    • Lightning-fast speedboat racer Hydro Thunder Hurricane

Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC subscriptions are available to purchase via the official Game Pass website. An Ultimate subscription, which includes both the PC and Console versions of the pass, is also available.
