Observer System Redux Coming To Next-Gen Consoles

Bloober Team, the creative minds behind Blair Witch and Layers Of Fear, have announced Observer: System Redux will be coming to next-gen consoles. At the end of the clip, viewers are informed that a next-gen reveal is on the way and to stay tuned for more info.

Set in a futuristic, and dystopian Krakow, it features Blade Runner actor Rutger Hauer. He stars in the role of Daniel Lazarski, a detective investigating an apartment block. Observer, upon release, was available across major platforms, so it seems likely that System Redux will be accessible via Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5.

In a Gamespot review, it reads, Every scene adds a meaningful piece of the puzzle to a world and a story that you want to immediately know more about.” In summary of their review, Observer was hailed asa haunting and remarkable achievement.”

In other news of the next-gen console kind, Sony unveiled PS5’s new ‘DualSense’ controller. Senior Vice President of Platform Planning & Management, Hideaki Nishino unveiled the controller during an international announcement on Playstation’s official blogs.

Of course, the most notable change right away is its name. Other changes that set this controller apart from the PS4’s includes a new Share Button, now called ‘Create.’ There’s also haptic feedback capabilities, and adaptive triggers to assist with immersion.

The PS5 controller also includes USB-C standard for power and physical link capabilities, as well as a built-in speaker and a new microphone, which will enable players to communicate as they play.
