The biggest requirement to skip the village fight in Resident Evil 4 Remake is that you need to be on a new game plus to do it. Yes, unfortunately, you cannot skip this deadly encounter on your first playthrough. Once you enter the village on any subsequent playthrough, after the cutscene where Leon observes the local officer being burned at the stake, immediately make your way to the house where you pick up the shotgun. If you don’t know which this is, it is the house just to the left of the burning stake in the village center.
All the villagers will start pursuing you, but carefully avoid them and get inside. This will prompt a cutscene where Leon barricades himself inside and the chainsaw villager spawns in. While he’s busy cutting through the door, sprint up the stairs and jump through the window onto the roof. As quickly as you can, take out a ranged weapon, preferably with a scope, and look toward the church. Beside it is a bell tower partially hidden by a tree. Shoot it twice, listening for the bell to ring to confirm you’re hitting it, and you will trigger the ending cutscene early, thus skipping the entire fight.
