In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link can visit Hateno Village’s dye shop to change the fabric of his Paraglider. While some of the available Paraglider fabrics, such as the Gerudo Fabric and Korok Fabric, can be obtained via completing in-game sidequests, others can only be found via scanning various The Legend of Zelda Amiibo. These fabrics are based on past games, including an adorable Pixel Fabric inspired by the original The Legend of Zelda title. While several Paraglider fabrics are currently available to obtain from Amiibo, it seems that Nintendo may plan to add even more in the future.
Hackers have reportedly discovered code indicating the presence of unused Amiibo-related Paraglider fabrics in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. These include a Princess Zelda fabric and a Gerudo King fabric, based on Zelda and Ganondorf’s respective looks in Tears of the Kingdom. According to a YouTube video posted by Lootward on May 27, the Princess Zelda fabric features an elegant dark green and gold design, while the Gerudo King fabric is multicolored with a green, red, gold, and black pattern.
These two unused fabrics are attached to Amiibo with IDs of 1049 and 1050 in the game’s files. However, no Amiibo with these IDs currently exist. The highest ID belongs to the Tears of the Kingdom Link Amiibo, which is 1048. This has led some fans to speculate that new Amiibos inspired by Tears of the Kingdom Zelda and Ganondorf will be released sometime in the future.
This is a definite possibility, as Tears’ predecessor Breath of the Wild released several tie-in Amiibo, including Link, Zelda, a Guardian, a Bokoblin, and all four Champions. Given that Tears of the Kingdom has only seen a tie-in Link Amiibo released, it is highly likely that more Amiibo based on the game will be appearing in the future. Besides the rumored Zelda and Ganondorf, many fans are hoping for Amiibo based on the elemental Sages or new monsters such as Zonai Constructs or King Gleeok.
