New details on Soulcalibur VI have been released.
Bandai Namco has announced that Soulcalibur VI’s second story mode will be called Libra of Soul. In this mode, players create a custom character, who will try to stop an evil mastermind from collecting all of the Soul Edge shards. During their adventure, players will run into characters from Soulcalibur VI, as well as other custom characters. The character creation mode will allow gamers to choose from 16 different races, and be able to choose from a number of facial features, body types, hair styles, weapons, armor and fighting styles. These created characters can also be used in online casual and ranked matches. A trailer for Libra of Soul can be seen below.
Tira will also be returning to Soulcalibur VI as a DLC character. She will be purchasable as a stand-alone DLC character, or as part of the game’s season pass. Tira can be seen in action in a trailer below.
Soulcalibur VI will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 19.
