Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered recently launched onto PC, and naturally, this will lead to players attempting to mod the game. Most recently, Reddit user jjarack imported Neversoft’s PS1 Spider-Man suit into the game, and it doesn’t look half bad. For most fans, they mod the game to incorporate their favourite suits into an ultra-realistic, hugely fun game.
Then, of course, some mod the game to include…, Kermit the Frog. I know – and after a thousand guesses, I wouldn’t have thought of it either. This latest mod allows players to boot up the game and from the get-go, unleash the green frog and kick some backsides. Not a sentence I ever imagined writing – but the visuals fail to lie, as can be seen below, courtesy of Twitter user TangoTeds.
The short fourteen-second clip demonstrates Kermit in action, and it’s hard to find the right words for it. The Kermit mod can be downloaded from Nexus Mods – and the Spider-Man PC Modding Tool is the only thing required to install it. “You have asked and this frog delivers!” TangoTeds announces in the post.

In another post from TangoTeds, Kermit replaces the web-slinger in the loading screens for the game. “Don’t ever let me make mods again” TangoTeds captions one image. Finally, saving the best for last is a video from voice actor Devil Artemis, who shared a clip on his Twitter of Kermit the Frog swinging through New York City signing to Post Malone’s “Sunflower”.
That’s the second sentence I never imagined I’d write – and once again, the visual evidence concurs – Kermit is swinging, and singing – to a song made famous by Miles Morales in Into the Spiderverse. Marvel’s Spider-Man is available on the PS5 and on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. For more Spidey content, GameLuster reported that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered became Playstation’s biggest PC launch in the UK.
