Today’s Nintendo Direct Micro announced that the new map Port Mackerel and the new weapon N-ZAP85 will release at 7:00 pm PT in a new update for Splatoon. The update will also include Ranked Mode, a new mode only accessible to players at level 10 or above. This mode has players compete in Splat Zones, where they fight for control over small areas of land. This update and every other one that releases this summer will be free, so players have a lot of new content to look forward to at no additional cost.
