Stellar Blade Sells 1 Million Copies On PC In 3 Days

The PC launch of Stellar Blade was nothing less than massive. We previously reported on the concurrent player count for Stellar Blade on PC eclipsing all other PlayStation releases on Steam, but a new report from Ruliweb in South Korea has given us an exact metric for just how successful Stellar Blade has been for Korean developers Shift Up. In just three days, Stellar Blade sold over one million copies on Steam.

This giant launch for the fast-paced and stylish action game isn’t just making Shift Up happy however, as currently 94% of Steam reviews are positive, with fans praising the port, the action, and of course, the visuals. With this additional million units sold on PC, Stellar Blade has now crossed 3 million units sold in total since it launched in April of last year.

With such strong sales, it appears Stellar Blade has a bright future ahead of it as a franchise.

A whopping 3 million sales in just over a year is an impressive feat for any developer, especially with Shift Up being a relatively new studio and this being their first ever attempt at developing a big-budget title. Both Sony and Shift Up know they have something special with protagonist Eve and Stellar Blade, there’s even a sequel already in development set to release sometime within the next two years. We’re sure that with fan interest already so high and with such an established audience on both PC and PlayStation already, whatever’s next for Stellar Blade is sure to be another hit.
