So who hasn’t already played tetris? It has been released basically eeverywhere but for those who want to experience in even higher definition well you are about to get just that. Ubisoft has revealed that they will partnering with The Tetris Company, and will be bringing this great classic game to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Even better is that tetris will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2014, this title has gone to sold already more than 170 million copies
Thee managing director of The Tetris Company, Henk B. Rogers said, “We welcome Ubisoft to the Tetris family. I am 100% sure they will develop one of the best versions of the Tetris game ever.”
Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot shared,“We’re very excited to start working with this world-renowned brand, and can’t wait to combine Ubisoft’s expertise and all the capacities of next-gen consoles to create an exciting new Tetris experience for fans.”
The Tetris license has been in the hands of many 3rd Party developers , EA had it recently.
