The game will cost $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99 / AU$ 89.99 and is expected to have both a physical and digital release. However, if you prefer your games released physically, then you might be out of luck unless you just want the box that is, as a game code has replaced the traditional cartridge.
The Outer Worlds made its way to other platforms last year while getting praised for its return to a style that made developer Obsidians work on Fallout New Vegas so popular. Those looking to give thanks that The Outer Worlds is even coming to Switch in the first place, you can praise port specialist Virtuos, the company that had worked on the Switch ports for Dark Souls Remastered and Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
