Take-Two Interactive, the company responcible for GTA and Borderlands is no longer just a videogame publisher. The company is reaching into the comic book industry with its new line of graphic novels set in the world of the 1968 zombie film Night of the Living Dead.
The company’s publishing imprint goes by the name of Double Take and their first three graphic novels; Rise, Insurrection, and Soul, are all set in the world of Night of the Living Dead.
A representitive of Double Take has pointed out that:
“No one affiliated with the 1968 Night of the Living Dead film is in any way involved in the creation of the new stories.”
Double Take has posted scenes from Rise, Insurrection and Soul on their Facebook Page. However, many of the scenes posted are works in progress, and some feature recreated scenes from Night of the Living Dead, in comic form.
