There’s Still Time Left To Grab Great Deals In The Steam Winter Sale

A new year has dawned, and 2020 is behind us – but there’s a few things remaining from last year, and one of them is the huge list of deals available via the Steam Winter Sale. The sale, which kicked off shortly before Christmas, will continue until January 5, 2021.

The Winter Sale offers hundreds of discounts on popular games and beloved indie titles alike. There are also sales on entire franchises including Fallout, Civilization, Assassin’s Creed, Halo, and the Tom Clancy games. Ypu can also play together with your friends during quarantine by grabbing Among Us or one of the Jackbox Party Pack titles. Alternately, there’s also 2020’s hit games such as Hades, Spiritfarer, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

The Steam store interface is more helpful than ever this year. In addition to letting you browse by genre, it recommends games you like based on what you’ve purchased in the past year, as well as “games under $10” for the buyer who’s looking to for the biggest deals. You can even check out if any games you’ve previously purchased have sequels or DLC available for sale.

In addition, Steam is offering free holiday bird-themed stickers and emoticons to help users celebrate the new year. Check out birds inspired by Hades, Among Us, Portal, and other popular Steam titles. You can also earn trading cards through purchasing and voting for games.

While you’re there, voting for the 2020 Steam Awards is also underway, and will conclude January 3, so make sure to cast your vote before then. The storefront also revealed what games were the most popular with players last year, with winners including Cyberpunk 2077, Fall Guys and Among Us.
