Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy Leaked, And It’s Coming Soon!

To celebrate Tomb Raider’s 25th anniversary, Square Enix are releasing surprises and teases of what’s to come throughout the year. But it appears that one surprise has been released too early.

The Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy was leaked onto the Microsoft Store yesterday before promptly being removed. However, it was up long enough for fans to catch a glimpse of what is coming.

Fans won’t have to wait long either, as the listing revealed that the bundle will be released on March 18. This bundle will include each of the previously released definitive editions of the prequel Tomb Raider games. Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider both have definitive editions and Rise of the Tomb Raider has a 20th anniversary edition, which is essentially a definitive edition as well. The bundle is expected to include these versions of the prequel games, with extra content.

Those who saw the announcement could find no mention of a price or next-gen enhancements. However, the bundle is outfitted for 4K and HDR.

The bundle will include all of the expansion content from the trilogy. It will also have 22 pieces of extra content according to various reports, which will include a Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass, and an Endurance Mode. Other content packs to be included will feature the Apex Predator Pre-order pack and Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch. There will also be a bunch of equipment and outfit packs including the Sparrowhawk Pack, the Tactical Survivor Pack, and the Siberian Ranger, to name a few.

The description for the collection on the Microsoft Store read: “Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy is the complete edition of the award-winning Tomb Raider origin games. This collection contains all the definitive edition content from each critically acclaimed prequel title—Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Follow Lara on her formative journey across the world, starting in Tomb Raider trapped on the shrouded island of Yamatai off the coast of Japan, to the harsh Siberian tundra hiding an immortal secret in Rise of the Tomb Raider, and finally to the mountainous landscape of Peru to uncover a cataclysmic power in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. With all the definitive edition content from each game, this Trilogy promises dozens of hours of breathtaking exploration, challenging puzzle-solving, and survival combat with Lara as she becomes the Tomb Raider she was destined to become.”

It appears fans will not have to wait long to get their hands on the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy collection, but we have no information on what platforms it will be available for.

Neither Square Enix, Microsoft or Crystal Dynamics have yet responded to the leak.
