Far Cry 4 is one of the only video games ever made to feature an Indian protagonist, and with over one billion Indians in the world, it's tough to figure out why. So how do we go about fixing this? Why should we bother fixing this? Everyone needs representation because that validation that our identities are worth learning about is a basic human need. In this video, I dive into what Far Cry 4 meant to me as an American of Indian heritage and how I just once got to experience the same feeling that white players feel nearly every time they play a game.
