Warner Brothers Interactive is planning to remaster the first two Arkham games for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One

I remember reading a rumor a few months back that Warner Brothers Interactive was getting set to remaster the first two Batman Arkham games for next generation consoles, this of course made sense given that the latest and final entry in the Batman Arkham trilogy was going to be a current generation exclusive. Either way it seems pretty much certain that this is going to happen now, according to a leaked image from a survey on NeoGAF it does seem like Warner Brothers is certainly planning on going ahead with the remastering. With the remastering of Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City it seems Warner Brothers is planning upgraded models, environments, and high quality post processing effects. In addition to the visual upgrades, WB Games will also include all the DLC that was released for Arkham Asylum and Arkham City to give players the full experience.

The survey that you can find on NeoGaf asks about multiple questions pretty much implying the game is going to happen, with multiple questions asked including about cover art, game titles and the likeliness that people would buy this hypothetical product. You know what this does seem like is almost a sure thing at this point and I hope it is, I played Arkham City in its best version over on the Wii U, though I have never played Arkham Asylum so I would inclined to pursue the remastered edition with its beneficial upgrades for the game I have never played. Hopefully with the cat out of the bag we might get a reveal at E3.
