Since the announcement in February that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was finally receiving new DLC content, Mario Kart fans have been eager to find out which remastered tracks will be added to the game. Today, Nintendo confirmed an additional eight new courses coming to the Booster Course Pass on August 4th. The remastered courses coming in Wave 2 are as follows:
- New York Minute (from Mario Kart Tour)
- Mario Circuit 3 (from Super Mario Kart)
- Kalimari Desert (from Mario Kart 64)
- Waluigi Pinball (from Mario Kart DS)
- Sydney Spring (from Mario Kart Tour)
- Snow Land (from Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
- Mushroom Gorge (from Mario Kart Wii)
- Sky-High Sundae (a new track, that will head to Mario Kart Tour at a later date).
The Booster Course Pass will eventually contain 12 additional cups – that’s 48 additional courses. Today’s announcement brings the total number of revealed courses for the Pass to 16, so there is plenty more coming. It’s also very exciting to see a new track making its debut in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe before being featured in Mario Kart Tour.
