Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom: How To Increase Inventory

Like in Breath of the Wild, Link has limited space in his inventory in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This is quite a dire problem since all equipment, except armor, will quickly break after use. Many players may want to hoard as many weapons as possible in case they need them in the future, but that is not feasible initially. Luckily, there’s a way to solve this issue, and this Tears of the Kingdom guide can tell you how to increase your inventory limit so you can collect as many swords as you want.

You must speak with a large Korok named Hestu, who will increase your inventory space in exchange for a certain amount of Korok Seeds. You can obtain Korok Seeds by helping numerous small Koroks you discover on your journey. These creatures will give you some sort of puzzle or problem ranging from easy to rage-inducing.

For example, in the Great Sky Island, you can find two pairs of Koroks who are separated from their friends. If you manage to reunite them, these magical creatures will grant you four Korok Seeds in total.

Once you have your Korok Seeds, you can find Hestu near the New Serenne Stable, and he will be cowering and muttering about scary trees. In order to speak to him, you must defeat the two Evermeans who are hiding among normal plants.

Once the monsters are dead, he will thank you and offer to increase your inventory size. The first expansion will only require one Korok Seeds, but further upgrades will need more. At some point, you will require eight Korok Seeds to get one extra inventory space.

After you help Hestu, he will leave the area, but you can find the Korok in Lookout Landing. He will either stand under a tree or hang out near the shop. You can talk to him whenever you wish to upgrade your pouch, and he will perform a silly dance.

That is the end of our guide on increasing your inventory limit in Tears of the Kingdom. Before leaving to find Hestu, consider reading other guides on GameLuster. For example, we have an article on beginner tips you may want to know before starting your first playthrough.
