Sega is getting ready to remove two of their classic games from the Wii Virtual Console and the Xbox Live Arcade. Sega classics Sonic the Hedgehog and its sequel Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are set to be removed from the marketplaces.
This comes according to Famitsu who says that both of the Genesis games will be removed tomorrow on October 30th on the Wii Virtual Console. The Xbox Live Arcade versions date has yet to be revealed. However at this time it is unclear whether this is just going to affect Japan or whether this is going to affect the world over.
In case you don’t have these games yet I would recommend hurrying to pick them up while you can.
